Comings and Goings...

Hey friends—-

Hope your collective holidays find you plumper and working on a pleasant buzz. Haven’t checked in since returning in mid-October from our tour around the nation. Suffice to say, it was one for the books – particularly those that are written about wicked good times. We had a blast and can’t express enough gratitude to our fans, friends who put us up, and the bands with which we shared bills. Particular thanks to Whalebones, The 1900s, and Black Mountain who each in turn at any given moment were earth’s best band.

Here’s some live versions of songs from the new album from Philadelphia and an old one from Toronto. Click here and search under Oakley Hall for a complete show from the Jagjaguwar showcase at Pop Montreal. Also, we played The Current on Minneapolis Public Radio and Fair Game in New York. A performance from KEXP in Seattle will be uploaded soon. For more on the new record and to hear a stream of all tracks, visit the Merge Records site and click on the I’ll Follow You strip.

In other news… we are hitting the road this week again as apart of the Unlimited Sunshine Tour hosted by Cake. We’re very excited to be part of such a great line-up. It’ll be a new kind of tour for us as our twin curly-headed aces Fred and Claudia are sitting this one out for a much needed breather, so we’ll be a leaner, meaner quartet for a spell. Expect some really old songs thrown in with newer ones arranged with some twists. Anyways, for more on the shows, click here or visit us on Rupert Murdoch’s terms here.

Hope to see you at the Cake shows and beyond…
