Hey friends…

Sorry for the long lag in new information, but we took the whole summer to recover from our nationwide stint with Bright Eyes & Gillian Welch last spring (which, incidentally, ruled) but now we’re rested and ready with the latest:

First, our new record I’ll Follow You comes out on Sept. 11 on Chapel Hill’s finest – Merge Records. It’s currently streaming on their homepage and you can pre-order and hear the whole thing there. It includes a handful of songs we’ve been playing on the road for the last year and a bunch of brand new ones. Soon, we’ll have a download or two ready on this site. We’re going up against the new Kanye West and 50 Cent and while retirement isn’t quite on the line, it’s going to be a battle. Help us out at your local record store when the time comes…

Second, we’re still finalizing details but we’ll be hitting the road in support of I’ll Follow You in September and October. We’re doing the whole U.S. and at one point or another intersecting with Black Mountain, the Clientele, the 1900s, and Whalebones among others. Check out details as they unfold here and come out and see us.
